A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
